38 Week (and 2 day) Update

I debated on whether or not to even write a post this week. I have been busy with so many things and thought that since I missed last week's update, what would one more week missed hurt. However, after this past week I thought that this could possibly be my last update about my pregnancy. With so much going on this two weeks with my pregnancy, I thought that an update was a must. Last week Wednesday I was having contractions about 18 minutes apart. I jumped in a hot bath and the contractions slowed to one every half hour or so. Definitely not following a pattern after a bath. I then was having contractions on and off every day since then. They have progressively been getting stronger, but still no pattern.

First, I am still suffering with bronchitis. This has resulted in pulled muscles in my stomach as well as bruising to my ribs from coughing so hard and much. I recently finished a five day medication that is supposed to treat the bronchitis. However, here I sit still coughing a bunch. I also have two inhalers that are supposed to help with breaking it all up and the inflammation. The one for the latter, the rescue inhaler, has been the most useful. Thankfully that's the one I take most often (every 4 to six hours).

WIP Carseat Swaddlers

With Wyatt due to make his appearance anytime now within the next 25 days, there are some fun projects I want to get done. One of these projects is car seat swaddle blankets.

I bought a bunch of fun patterned flannel fabric a month or so ago with this exact project in mind. I have enough fabric to make 4 car seat swaddle blankets. I cannot wait to share the finished blankets, as well as my little guy using them.

FO Nolan's Patchwork Blanket

I finished Nolan's blanket! I decided to finish the border in navy and it turned out amazingly! I love the colors and the overall look of the blanket. As Tigers fans, this is a perfect addition to the blanket collection we have. It was a little stiff before I washed it. Once it was washed though, it was super soft. I cannot wait for winter time to snuggle all the babies up in their patchwork blankets. What do you think?

36 Week (and 1 Day) Update

As of right now, we have 26 days until little Wyatt is due. There are times when I think that we won't make it, then others where I am afraid I am going to go past my due date. Nonetheless we are due in about 26 days! I am getting beyond anxious, excited, nervous, all those emotions that come with child birth and holding my son for the first time intensely now.
