WIP Three Pretty Maids

I was recently contacted by a women interested in pom pom pigtail hats for her three little girls. I was really excited to work on these due to the lack of limitations and directions and the ages of her girls. She has a 3 year old, a 2 year old, and a 5 month old. I thought we were the only crazy ones to have that set up with kids. I couldn't imagine having all girls though. YIKES! My one girl is handful enough.

Anyway, she sent me what she wanted color wise, said she wanted the to coordinate, and said surprise her. These are the orders I love working on the most because they allow me to be creative and artistic. She wanted a mauve and gray, which was an easy enough find.

FO Minion Hat

My husband works with some pretty awesome people. I have recently gotten to know Heather, one of the women he works with. Our relationship started when she had told Adam that she had some baby boy clothes she was trying to get rid of. Keep in mind that I had just told Adam that Wyatt would be all set when he was born because we still had most of Nolan's baby stuff.

I told him that I was going to look through her stuff anyway for a few things, which he knew would happen because he knows that I am OBSESSED with baby clothes. I stopped by there one day with my two little rugrats (three if you count Wyatt in utero). When I got there, my two littles played with her two littlest ones who were about the same age.

Halloween! WARNING: An enormous amount of pictures!

With all that has been going on around our house, blogging has definitely taken a back seat. However, I am hoping that this is going to change.

This year Halloween fell on a Thursday. This worked out perfectly for our family because Adam has Thursdays off from work. This year though, it rained. With everyone getting over or still battling a cold, we decided to be responsible parents and keep our little sicklings in out of the rain. BOO! Who doesn't go trick or treating?!

Wyatt is 2 Months!

Yes I am a little late to adding this post, but we have yet again survived another month of babyhood. I am starting to feel as though Wyatt has been apart of this family forever. I can't remember what life felt like before he entered this world. He is loved so much by everyone in this family, especially his siblings.

It took a while to get Nolan to want to be near him. But now I can't get him to leave him alone. This is only a problem when Wyatt is sleeping. Nolan likes to show and teach him things, which I must say may be the most adorable thing I have ever seen. And miss Ryenn thinks that she must always be touching Wyatt. She is constantly rubbing the top of his head or kissing him. Again, really adorable. I mean, he smiles so big whenever they come into view of him. His response to them is just as adorable as their love for him.

FO Pikachu Hats

The fall and winter seem to be my busiest times for knitting. With so many projects finished, being finished, or on the needles, knitting has taken on a larger role in my life again. For a little bit there I was stressed out about it. But nonetheless, with each project I get done, the better I feel about myself and my business.

Anyway, I recently had two orders for Pikachu hats. It makes me laugh when I have two of the same thing being ordered. I finished the first one as part of a Halloween costume for a 6 month old. The kids of this family were all going dressed as Pokemon characters. This one reached their home right on Halloween, less than a week after it was ordered.
